Join us for a weekend of women's only snowshoeing, exploring, and fabulous food in Sequoia National Park. Snowshoeing is easy and a wonderful way to be in the mountains in winter. If you have never tried it before, we will teach you-- it is easy and just like hiking! Sequoia National Park is one of America's best National Parks with activities year round and amazing sites, including Giant Sequoia trees. Each day, we will be outside from about 10 AM to 3 or 4 PM. We will start each day with a hearty breakfast before heading out. After our adventures in the snow, well then come back to our comfortable lodging to recap the days events, enjoy fine food and great camaraderie.
On Day 1 we will offer a snowshoe lesson for any women looking for instruction or pointers before heading out into the Giant Forest to snowshoe by the General Sherman Tree – the world’s largest tree. Day 2 we will explore more areas near a beautiful meadow, all under the majestic trees. This trip is designed to accommodate beginners and there is an early turn around option each day. Join us for this great women’s snowshoe adventure!
A great getaway for women who love to be active but don't want to camp.
